CURRENT GOVT. GOES BELOW CARETAKER POSITION: OLI

Feb 7, Kathmandu : Standing Committee member of the CPN (UML) KP Sharma Oli said the current government should be toppled through the street protests as it has gone below the caretaker position. 

The Unified CPN (Maoist) and Madhesh based political parties are for creating constitutional and political vacuum by not holding the Constituent Assembly (CA) election, said UML leader Oli speaking at an interaction organized by Press Chautari Nepal in the capital today. They just like to ruin the nation encouraging non-political criminal activities in the country, he said. UML leader Oli said “Now, the supporters of this government should understand that the government under Dr. Baburam Bhattarai’s leadership would no longer exist. We are making efforts to make new election government and bring new constitution in the country and that the UCPN-Maoist would also be a member of it.”

The current government has no rights to stay in power or be an obstacle for the election government as it has failed to promulgate new constitution and hold election, he said. In a different context, leader Oli said the UCPN-Maoist has proposed economic brigade and production squad to make the party cadres a fulltime volunteers. RSS
