31 July, Janakpur . A tourist police office has been established at the Janaki Temple premises to provide necessary services, legal information and security to the visiting tourists.
The office will coordinate with the organisations involved in tourism promotion, inform the concerned embassy if a foreign tourist commits serious crime, register complaints filed by the tourists and inform Nepal Police of stolen property.
Inaugurating the newly established office today, Chief District Officer, Krishna Prasad Dhungana, said that development of the tourism sector would help strengthen the economy. RSS
