18 Aug, Siraha. A woman died in a road accident along Siraha-Choharwa road section Sunday night.
The deceased has been identified as Urmiladevi Karna, 40, of Belha-9, according to the District Police Office, Siraha.
Deputy Superintendent of Police, Laxman Giri, said that the incident took place when a motorcycle (Sa 2 Pa 3862) overturned at Belha-7 while overtaking another motorcycle (BR 32 H 5606). Karna was pillion rider of the motorcycle (Sa 2 Pa 3862).
Karna, who received serious injuries on her head, died on the spot, it is learnt.
Police have arrested that motorcyclist of the Indian number plated motorcycle, Ganga Prasad Mandal, of Madhubani district, India, and impounded the both motorcycles. RSS
