18 Aug, Gaushala. A man was found dead in floodwater at Jaleshwor in Mahottari district Sunday evening.
The deceased has been identified as Rakesh Kumar Chaudhary, 25, of jaleshwor Municipality-7, according to the District Police Office.
The body of Chaudhary was found floating in a floodwater of culvert at Jaleshwor Municipality-7, said Deputy Superintendent of Police, Lokendra Shrestha.
Locals said Chauidhaty died after he was swept away by flood on the culvert while he was returning home on Saturday night closing his office. Chaudhary was running Shivasambhu Tours and Travels.
Fishermen saw the body of Chaudhary and informed police on Sunday evening. The body has been taken to District Hospital, Jaleshwor, on the same night for postmortem. RSS
