6 March, Kathmandu : The clearance of Turkish Airlines plane that skidded off the runaway at the Tribhuvan International Airport on Wednesday is underway.
The Indian expert team arrived here with equipments is expected to complete the clearance works by 12.00 noon today. The international flights would resume only after removal of plane from the runway, said Turkish Airlines Manager Purna Prasad Chudal.
The task is on to lift the stranded plane with the use of bladder (balloon), Chudal said, adding that the only remaining is to pull plane maintaining its wheels.
An aircraft expert team of Indian Air Service had arrived Kathmandu on Thursday to remove the stranded plane of Turkish Airlines. RSS
