“Be confident, environment for investment is gradually being created,” PM Koirala assured the industrialists at a programme organized on the occasion of the Industry and Commerce Day 2071 today.

PM Koirala was speaking at the programme organized in honour of the office bearers and members of the Federation of Nepalese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) and industrialists at his residence.

According to him, the country would soon witness durable peace, stability, rule of law and democratic system which is obviously a good opportunity for investment.

He further said Nepal would get the constitution as the political parties have reached the final stage to settle the disputed issues.

The PM argued that the ruling parties had been flexible to clear the political deadlock so that consensus would be built in near future. However, he said the parties were yet to finalize the numbering, naming and demarcating the provinces.

According to him, it was not time at all for struggles and agitation, as people have got many rights.

He urged the industrialists to press the political parties for peace and stability in the country.

Reminding that the two giant neighbours have repeatedly urged Nepal to reap benefit from their economic progress, the PM Koirala said, “We need to tap the huge natural assets.”

The government was ready to solve any problems relating to entrepreneurship, he said, expressing best wishes to all on this occasion and on the occasion of the New Year too.

Acting Chairman of the FNCCI, Pashupati Murarka, said the private sector was always ready to work in unison with the government for the economic developments in the country. RSS
