19 May, Kathmandu : Former Prime Minister and senior leader of the CPN-UML, Madhav Kumar Nepal, has been bereaved of his father this morning.
The 99-year-old Mangal Kumar Upadhyay passed away at his residence in Koteshwor at 7:00am, said leader Nepal’s personal secretary Mohan Gautam.
Upadhyay who was born in Rautahat left behind the family of three sons and three daughters.
Educationist and social worker Upadhyay had written four books on religious philosophy and grammar. RSS
