NOC Spokesperson Dipak Baral said they will dispatch more tankers to India on Tuesday if India keeps its promise of giving load to more tankers. “Today, more than 150 petroleum tankers have reached petroleum depots in India. They have promised to supply more oil. If they keep the pledge, we will send more tankers on Tuesday.”

Tankers have reached Gonda, Baitalpur, Barauni and Silgudi, besides Raxaul.

On Sunday, IOC’s Silguudi and Gonda depots had given load to 43 tankers. Even on a public holiday (Sunday), the two depots had provided fuel to 25 of the tankers that had arrived from Nepal. On other days, IOC used to give load to only 10 per cent of tankers from Nepal.
