Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal has welcomed all parties outside of the government to join the democratic alliance for resolving major political issues on Thursday.

Speaking at the sixth inaugural board meeting of National Janajati Utthan Pratisthan organized in the capital, PM Nepal said, “I urge all opposition and outside parties to participate in the UML-led government by forgetting all political rivalries.” The new constitution will be drafted on stipulated time frame only on the condition of national consensus among all parties, claimed PM.  Nepal is also the chairperson of NJUP.

Meanwhile, PM stated to set up a national museum reflecting identity and culture of all indigenous people of the country. Local-level museums will also be founded at places where indigenous people occupy a dense population, said PM.

Speaking in the same program, minister of Local Development Purna Kumar Sherma expressed dissatisfaction over the government’s inability to allocate sufficient budget for the uplift of the indigenous people.
