October 18, Kathmandu. Newly elected Speaker of Legislature-Parliament Onsari Gharti will take her oath of office on Sunday, the Parliament Secretariat has said.
President Ram Baran Yadav will administer the oath of office to Gharti, who was unanimously elected to the post on Friday. The Maoist leader, who has become the first woman to be elected to the post, will assume her office from Sunday itself.
Meanwhile, Deputy Speaker Ganga Prasad Yadav will take his oath of office on Monday.
