Kathmandu November 26. China has announced that it will accord zero-tariff treatment to 97 per cent of commodities from Nepal, effective December 10, 2015.
According to People’s Daily, China’s state-run newspaper, the Custom Tariff Commission of the State Council made the decision recently.
In December last year, Nepal and China signed an agreement on easing access for Nepali products to the Chinese market. It was announced that the deal would be fully implemented by the end of 2015.
