Kathmandu, November 29. A rogue Nepal Police officer landed in police net on Saturday for involvement in incidents of looting and kidnapping for ransom. Police also nabbed a youth, who was with the officer.
A team from the Metropolitan Crime Division nabbed Chhote Lal Thakur from Lumbini Guest House in Sundhara, Kathmandu, on Sunday morning.
Police fired at him while he was taking out a pistol hidden under his pillow with an intent to shoot. Thakur has suffered bullet wounds on his leg. Division chief, SSP Sarvendra Khanal, confirmed Thakur’s arrest. Police have nabbed a loaded Chinese pistol from the duo.
