Kathmandu, October 11 : After supporting CPN-UML prime ministerial candidate KP Sharma Oli, the Bijaya Gachhadar-led Federal Democratic Forum has split.
The Gachhadar-led party, Madheshi Democratic Forum (Democratic), has signed an eight-point understanding with the UML and the UCPN-Maoist, deciding to vote for Oli.
Sharat Singh Bhandari-led National Madheshi Socialist Party and Raj Kishor Yadav-led Madheshi Janadhikar Forum (Republican) have decided to vote for Sushil Koirala. With this, FDF has formally spilt, a leader said.
