Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated CPN-UML Chair KP Sharma Oli on his election as Nepal’s prime minister.
Indian Prime Minister’s Office’s mentioned in its twitter handle that Modi congratulated Oli on the phone.
UML Secretary Pradip Gyawali confirmed this. (India’s Prime Minister) Modi expressed hope ties between Nepal and India will improve, Gyawali said.
Meanwhile, China’s Ambassador to Nepal, Wu Chuntai, has reached the UML central office in Dhumbarahi to congratulate Oli. After his election as PM, Oli went straight to the party office from the Parliament.
