Kathmandu, October 19. Deputy Prime Minister Kamal Thapa, who was on a three-day visit to Delhi, has returned home with assurances that there will be no obstruction on the movement of supplies to Nepal from the Indian side.

Foreign Minister Thapa, who earlier today met Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi, told mediapersons after landing in Kathmandu, “I have seriously raised the issue of obstruction of supplies.” He said he found the Indian officials concerned and worried about Nepal’s problems.

Thapa said the Indian officials have suggested that Nepal Oil Corporation utilise border points where there are no obstructions to import fuel.

India does not have any prescription for Nepal’s constitution, but it wants all Nepalis to feel ownership of the constitution, explained Thapa.
