Kathmandu, July 22:  The World Hindu Youth Federation has performed atonement ritual at the Makhan-based Pashupatinath temple wishing for national welfare.

The Federation wished for eternal peace to those who lost their lives to the April 25 earthquake and its aftershocks.

Former king Gyanendra Shah offered worship there. In brief remarks after performing the worship, Shah said that the feedback of the people should be incorporated in the constitution at a time when people’s feedback was collected as the draft was taken to them for that very purpose.

Stressing on the need of making the new constitution the common document of all, he urged political parties and leaders not to neglect people’s sentiments.

The former monarch also visited different areas including, Hanumandhoka, Kasthamandap, Maru Ganesthan, among others. RSS
