4 Jan, Golbazar. At a time there is the news that different parties have no representatives from many districts across the country; the number of Constituent Assembly members from Siraha district has reached 20 after the selection of 14 representatives from different parties under the proportional electoral system.

There are six representatives the people elected under the first-past-the-post election from the district.

The largest party, Nepali Congress, picked Chitra Lekha Yadav, Pradip Giri, Amiya Kumar Yadav and Mohamad Mokhtar Ahamad; while the second largest one CPN-UML selected Dharma Nath Saha and Asha Yadav.

Similarly, the UCPN-Maoist has selected Ajay Shankar Nayak and Sarita Yadav. There are Birendra Mahato and Usha Yadav from Madhesi Janadhikar Forum-Nepal.

The Rastriya Prajatrantra Party has picked Dhano Mahara while Dalit Janajati Party is picked Bishwendra Paswan. Pavan Kumar Sarada is elected by MJF (Loktantrik) while Nirjala Raut by the Rastriya Madhes Samajbadi.

With this selection, the cadres of different political parties in the district have been dissatisfied with the leadership. The cadres from constituency no 4 have been dissatisfied with the CPN-UML for not selecting Dharma Nath Yadav. District secretary of the party Ram Awatar Yadav said if the party did not correct the PR selection, the village and area working committees of the party would tender resignation en masse.

On the other hand, the devoted cadres and leaders of the MJF (Ganatrantrik) have been discontent with leadership as the chairman picked his wife under PR quota. RSS
