Biratnagar, October 7 . UCPN-Maoist Chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal today said his party will assist the new government, which is yet to take shape, by staying out of it.
Dahal said this while talking to journalists at the Biratnagar Airport, on his way to Itahari.
He said the India-imposed blockade is against international law. He called for an early end to the embargo.
India should play a role to end this blockade without delay, Dahal said. The government has taken diplomatic initiatives to reopen the shut border points, he said, adding, though, that it has not done enough to alleviate this crisis.
Asked how a new government will take shape, Dahal stressed the need to move head by following the 16-point agreement reached earlier.
