Kathmandu, November 10.Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is not addressing the country and the people today, due to time constraints and lack of adequate preparations.
The new PM was expected to talk about the crisis situation resulting from the Indian blockade and inform the people about major tasks he aims to undertake.
Prime Minister Oli’s press adviser Pramod Dahal said the PM is unlikely to deliver his address to the people today.
Preparations are afoot to resolve the present crisis and make a special announcement to provide relief to earthquake-affected populace. PM Oli has already talked about a special plan to rehabilitate people, who have been living in tents after the recent spate of quakes.
Government Spokesperson, Information and Communications Minister Sher Dhan Rai, said the government has high regard for people, who have stood for national independence in times of a crisis.
