Kathmandu, November 18. Minister for Commerce and Supplies Ganesh Man Pun said on Wednesday it’s possible to bring fuel from China as per the country’s requirements.

Pun said this after returning home upon completion of his informal visit to China. After his return on Tuesday night, Pun maintained they will bring both oil and cooking gas from China.

Pun had embarked on a secret trip to China at a time when Nepal was to sign a commercial agreement with China for the import of fuel from the northern neighbour. Though informal, my visit was important, he told journalists at the Commerce and Supplies Ministry on Wednesday.

I embarked on the trip with some friends to create a conducive environment for fuel supply (to Nepal), he said, adding: We had constructive talks during the trip. Now, there’s an environment in which we can get oil as per our demand, he said.
