SSB

Online Khabar
Sunsari, November 25. In what is probably yet another instance of breach of Nepal’s sovereignty, India’s Seema Sashastra Bal personnel crossed into Nepali territory in Sunsari on Wednesday and opened fire there, injuring four people, police and eyewitnesses said.

A group of 10 SSB personnel entered Nepal and opened fire, eyewitnesses said. Sanjay Sharma, SP at the Sunsari district police office, identified the injured as Ashok Yadav, Naresh Yadav, Manoj Yadav and Saroj Yadav of Haripur VDC-7, Sunsari. They were reportedly returning to Nepal after purchasing foodstuffs in the nearby Indian market. Ashok and Naresh have suffered chest and waist injuries.

The four are under treatment at Dharan-based BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences. Police said they are investigating the motive behind the shooting.
