Morang, November 26. In a barbaric act, United Democratic Madheshi Front activists doused Bablu Rajbanshi of Bhathigachh-7, Morang, in petrol and set him on fire, while he was returning to his workshop after buying petrol from a nearby Indian market. The attack left half of his body badly burnt.
When Rajbanshi tried to retaliate an attack on him, UDMF cadres seized petrol from him, doused him in petrol and set him alight, the victim’s relatives said.
Rajbanshi is under treatment at Dharan-based BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences.
Morang Chief District Officer Ganesh Raj Karki told Online Khabar he is yet to receive information about the incident.
