Kathmandu, January 29. Five vehicles from Raxaul have crossed the Miteri bidge, where agitated Madheshi Morcha supporters have been organising a sit-in for over 120 days.

Local authorities said four vehicles have also crossed the bridge from Nepal by 9 am. Parsa DO Keshav Raj Ghimire said around 4-5 protesters were present when the the vehicles made the crossing. Ghimire said that the vehicles coming from India had already cleared customs in Raxaul, and were waiting near the bridge.

Ghimire said Indian customs officials have not formally informed the Nepali side on the new developments.
