Banke, October 16. Fifty-three tankers loaded with petroleum products have entered Nepal through Jamunaha customs in Nepalgunj in the past three days. At 1 pm on Friday, 12 tankers loaded with diesel and one tanker loaded with air turbine fuel (ATF) entered the country.
On Thursday, 13 tankers loaded with diesel, one loaded with petrol and four tankers carrying ATF entered Nepal. While on Wednesday, 13 tankers loaded with diesel, six loaded with petrol, two loaded with kerosene and one gas bullet entered Nepal, in-charge at Jamunaha area police office, Vishnu Giri, said.
India’s Seema Sashastra Bal (SSB) has let trucks carrying poultry feed, vegetables and fruits enter Nepal without much hassles. It’s also letting tankers carrying petroleum products enter Nepal without much difficulty, Giri informed.
