Saptari, October 25. United Democratic Madheshi Front cadres seized oil from motorcycles and an ambulance in Bhardaha of Saptari district and set it ablaze, on Sunday.
A local, Ashok Majhi, informed that the ambulance was heading to Kathmandu from Biratnagar with a patient on board. According to Majhi, the emergency vehicle was also carrying petrol and diesel.
In another incident in Saptari, UDMF cadres seized motorcycles bringing petrol and diesel from Bhimnagar, India, and set them afire at Portaha and Koshi Barrage. Activists have shut marketplaces, shops, educational institutions, factories and transport system in Rajbiraj and other parts of the district.
