Kathmandu, November 16. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and UCPN-Maoist President Prachanda are holding a meeting at the PM’s Official Residence in Baluwatar.
They are discussing the talks that took place on Sunday between major political parties and the United Democratic Madheshi Movement, which has been organising a series of protests in the Tarai to press the state for fulfilment of its demands. Sunday’s talks had ended on an inconclusive note.
