Kathmandu, January 28.  Nepali Congress leader Sujata Koirala has announced that she will contest for the party president during the upcoming general convention.

Sujata, who is the daughter of GP Koirala, made the announcemet to the press at her residence in Biratnagar. Sujata said that she had taken the decision on her own, and would not pull out of the race. She said that the older generation should handover charge to the youth.
