Kathmandu, October 16. Shesh Ghale was re-elected president of Non-Resident Nepali Association on Thursday night. Ghale received 867 votes while his nearest competitor TB Karki received 226.
Bhawan Bhatta and Kumar Pant were elected vice-presidents. Bhatta received 538 votes, and Pant 592. Similarly, Badri KC was elected general secretary, Hikmat Thapa treasurer, and Arjun Shrestha secretary.
Members of the association voted Bijay Pokhrel as youth coordinator and Lokraj Sharma as deputy coordinator. Sapila Rajbhandari was elected women’s coordinator and Rajni Pradhan as deputy coordinator.
Sonam Lama was elected America coordinator, Kiran Bikram Thapa Asia Pacific, and Kul Acharya was elected Europe coordinator.
DB Chhetri is the new Gulf coordinator and Mahendra Lamsal the Oceania coordinator.
