Kathmandu, December 8.┬аMinister for Tourism and Civil Aviation Ananda Prasad Pokharel visited Tribhuvan International Airport, unannounced on Tuesday.
The minister, who had made a similar inspection few weeks ago, said he wanted to see for himself what progress has been made at the airport since his last visit.
After the visit, Pokharel said, “Some progress has been made. The airport officials need to continue with this.”
Pokharel recently told Online Khabar that he was aware of the situation at TIA, which has time and again been termed as the ‘worst’ airport in the world. He said that he has seen the difficulties Nepalis and foreigners are facing due to mismanagement of Nepal’s only international airport.
